Air Canada dévoile 75 ans de style

Ça y est, les vacances sont finies. A peine rentrée j'ai déjà envie de repartir... pour rester dans l'esprit du voyage, je vous présente aujourd'hui une publicité pour Air Canada réalisée par le talentueux Karim Charlebois-Zariffa. La pub passe en revue les différents uniformes des hôtesses de l'air de la compagnie aérienne, lors des 75 dernières années, portés par la mannequin Marie-Ève Warren.

That's it, the holidays are over. Just came back, and I already want to leave again... to stay in the travelling mood, here's an ad for Air Canada directed by the talented Karim Charlebois-Zariffa. The ad reviews the different uniforms that the air hostesses wore at the airline for the last 75 years, worn by the model Marie-Eve Warren.

Vacances d'une Dior Addict?

Salut à tous! Même s'il faudrait me payer très cher pour aller passer mes vacances à Saint-Tropez (surtout en plein  mois de juillet), cette publicité pour le parfum Be Iconic de Dior Addict a un petit quelque chose qui fait rêver aux vacances. Peut-être que certains d'entre vous le sont déjà, mais pour ma part, j'ai encore deux petites semaines à attendre! Réalisé par Jonah Akerlund et mettant en vedette la mannequin très Bardot-esque, Daphné Groeneveld, le film publicitaire "Et Dieu Créa la Femme" est très bien supporté par la chanson "I love you, Ono" de Stéréo Total.

Maybe some of you lucky ones already are, but I still have two little weeks to wait! Directed by Jonah Akerlund and starring the very Bardot-ish model , Daphné Groeneveld, the commercial "And God created Woman"is very well supported by the song "I Love You, Ono" by Stereo Total.

Un nouveau chez H&M!

Bonne nouvelle tout le monde! H&M a annoncé une nouvelle collaboration avec la Maison Martin Margiela prévue pour le 15 novembre prochain!! La collection sera composée de vêtements et d'accessoires pour hommes et femmes, donc tout le monde pourra en profiter! Bien entendu, vu que ça vient d'être annoncé, nous n'avons pas encore accès à des images de la collection, mais je vous laisse sur des créations de la maison.

Good news everyone! H&M announced a new collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela scheduled for November 15th! The collection will consist of clothing and accessories for men and women, so everyone can enjoy it! Of course, since the news just came out, we don't have access to images of the collection yet, but I leave you with some creations from the house.

Le Collectif Textile s'expose

Le 24 mai dernier avait lieu le vernissage du Collectif Textile  de l'école de design et impression textiles à l'Atelier b. Parmi les huit exposants, mon ami Jean-François Martin présentait ses accessoires pour hommes, et ma découverte de la journée, Lucie Leroux, présentait sa collection de bijoux. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé les tapisseries signées Audrey Fortin. Je vous laisse avec quelques photos de l'événement et j'en profite pour dire un grand bravo à tous les finissants!

Last May 24, was the opening of the Textile Collective exhibition by the School of Textile Design and textile printing at Atelier b. Of the eight exhibitors, my friend Jean-Francois Martin presented his  men accessories, and my discovery of the day, Lucie Leroux, presented her jewellery collection. I also loved the tapestries signed by Audrey Fortin. I leave you with some pictures of the event and I want to say a big congratulations to all the graduates!

Une thérapie signée Roman Polanski

Roman Polanski réalise un film publicitaire pour Prada mettant en vedette Helena Bonham Carter et Ben Kingsley. Le message, A therapy, démontre avec humour que Prada va à tout le monde! J'aime bien ce genre de personnages dans les films de mode, et les deux acteurs les livrent à la perfection! Et bien entendu, j'ai un petit faible pour Helena, toujours magnifique et une personnalité forte qui transparait dans son jeu. 

Roman Polanski directed a commercial for Prada starring Helena Bonham Carter and Ben Kingsley. The message, A therapy, humorously demonstrates that Prada suits everyone! I like this kind of characters in  fashion films, and both actors delivers them perfectly! And of course I have a soft spot for Helena, always beautiful and a strong personality that shines through her acting.

Salut tout le monde! Aujourd'hui, j'ai pensé vous montrer quelques photos de mes styles préférés de l'une de mes icônes de la mode, Yasmin Sewell. Son style me rejoint surtout au niveau des manteaux et des vestes, un style élégant et relativement simple, qui va parfois chercher dans les couleurs mais qui reste beaucoup dans les bleus, gris et dans le noir & blanc.
